| Visit to Roughay Woods April 2007 |
HCCG went on a walk round Roughay Woods led by
Jonathan Howe, and by kind permission of the owner,
Harry Trigg, on Sunday 22nd April. |
| Queen Elizabeth Country Park show |
A group from Hampshire Coppice Craftsmen’s Group exhibited
at Queen Elizabeth Country Park Fair over the
weekend of the 7th-8th July.
They say the sun shines on the righteous, and if that is the
case, we must have done something good, because after
weeks of rain and showers, we had two lovely, mainly
sunny days, until packing up time, when we had a heavy

Visit to Ancient Technology Center,
Cranborne |
Just for a change it was rather showery, but some of HCCG
members dared to venture into Dorset for our visit to the
Ancient Technology Center. |
| Little Woodham |
Although only a select few ventured to out in the rain to the annual Little Woodham Wood day we put on a good if small show. |

Cider Pressing and Festival at New Forest Cider, Pound Lane, Burley, New Forest.
The central attractions were a steam powered apple pulper and press closely followed by Chris, Andrew Albray and associates on pole lathe and 5th generation hurdle maker Peter Lane on wattle hurdles Sunday only. |
