Members products & services

The presentation took place during the Green Fair at the Sustainability Centre at East Meon and celebrates Mike and Pete becoming the 100th and 101st members of the group.

The Green Fair was the first time that the Coppice Group’s new display, funded by the Lottery Heritage Fund, was used.

Mary Lewis obtained funding from the Bill Hogarth Memorial Trust and arranged the “Week in the Woods” course that was part of the selection process for the apprentices.

Their mentor and fellow group member Darren Hammerton is ensuring that as apprentices they acquire a broad range of knowledge and skills relating to coppice crafts and working oak.

The Hampshire Coppice Craftsmen's Group was formed in 2003 to support the work of coppice underwoodsmen and associated craftsmen in Hampshire and raise awareness of the benefits and opportunities provided by coppice management.
