Welcome to the Hampshire Coppice Craftsmens Group website. Hampshire Coppice Craftsmens Group (HCCG) was set up in 2003 with the aim of supporting the work of coppice, underwood and associated craftsmen in Hampshire, as well as raising awareness of the benefits and opportunities they provide for woodlands and their wildlife, the landscape, rural employment and sustainable development. The site also aims to promote the use of local sustainable products such as Hazel hurdles, Spars, bean sticks, charcoal, logs, etc..
We now have a list of events for the new year on our News page we have also added a quick link to our diary dates to the right of the screen to aid navigation.
As part of her Coppice support role Toni Brannon has been working on the Work'in Woods project based in the Southdowns National Park.
We aim to make the Coppice group site as accessible as possible to every one on the internet. We have a search facility which will link you to all documents on the page relevant to your search question but if you need more help fell free to fill in the contact page.

Since its inception HCCG has been activity promoting coppicing and associated crafts within Hampshire. The intention of this site is to promote the work of the group, as well as giving a voice to the people working in the woodlands of Hampshire.
Although National Beanpole Week has now ended the Group would like to thank Stansted Park garden centre and Sunnyfields Organic farm farmers market.
The Coppice Craftsmens Group is also a member of Hampshire Fare who promote local producers of food, drink and crafts based in Hampshire.
